The Kagawa Museum

A combination of both history and art

A museum that combines the history and art of Kagawa. Artworks of artists associated with Kagawa such as Inokuma Genichiro and Noguchi Isamu are exhibited here.
On the first floor, there is a learning room where you can experience various elements of Japanese history. Here you can try on armor from the Kamakura period or a traditional women’s kimono from the Heian period. Photographs are welcome, and both children and adults are able to enjoy this activity. There are also many traditional Japanese toys in the learning room.
At this popular spot, visitors can enjoy playing and experiencing Japanese history at the same time.
