You can enjoy making Sanuki Udon Noodles
You can enjoy making the famous Sanuki udon noodles yourself at a school located at the foot of Kotohira-gu Shrine, which is known as a spiritual spot. This famous activity has been in the media on many occasions.
The instructor teaches udon-making in detail starting with the kneading of the dough. The dough is then rolled out with a special rolling pin, boiled, and eaten – all the steps are covered! You can enjoy the full experience, including the special "foot kneading" and udon cutting. (A rolling pin, secret recipe and completion certificate are provided as gifts at the end).
You can eat your own udon, together with dishes such as tempura or chirashi-zushi. Many foreign visitors have taken the class, so this experience is highly recommended.
